Sam Dietrich, CEO, Prairie Robotics

Sam Dietrich first started working in the Waste Industry at 16 as a driver for "To-D-Dump Disposal". He continued employment until he began studying Engineering at the University of Regina.


After graduating he worked as a Software Engineer before returning to the waste industry and co-founding Prairie Robotics in 2019.


His favourite part of his current role is being able to support municipalities across North America reach their diversion goals while making recycling simple for residents.

Sujit Sanjeev, Product Lead, Google

Sujit Sanjeev is a technology professional with over fifteen years of experience in the field. He has worked in various roles such as software engineering, product management and strategy. He is passionate about Circularity and how technology can help make better use of our finite resources. He is currently leading an initiative that focuses on using Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence to enable a Circular Economy. Sujit is an avid practitioner of yoga, and continues to hone his home composting skills during free time.

Apurba Pradhan, Head of Product and Marketing, Everest Labs AI

Apurba is a seasoned product and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in leading product, product marketing and product operations teams. With an emphasis on software and system-level products for commercial and industrial infrastructure, Apurba has helped product teams and companies scale from startups to successful exits.


At EverestLabs, Apurba has helped craft EverestLabs’ strategic road map, plan product releases and launches and align company objectives with the recycling value chain and global circular economy trends.


Prior to EverestLabs, Apurba held product leadership roles overseeing product, marketing, engineering/development and customer success functions at the P&L and management level.  Apurba has a bachelor’s in physics from Clark University, a master’s in engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

Eric Law, Co-Founder and CEO, Urban Machine

Eric Law is the co-founder and CEO of Urban Machine. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is currently combining his passion for sustainability and technology by building robots that reclaim wood from construction and demolition to be reused as premium lumber. Previously, Law built an industry-leading innovation team at Swinerton, and he led the Construction Product team for Bentley Systems after his company, EADOC, had been acquired. When escaping technology, Law heads to the mountains with his family to ski, mountain bike, and climb a rock or two.
