NERC was awarded a contract by Bennington County Regional Commission (BCRC) to provide training, technical assistance, and outreach. The project, conducted on behalf of BCRC for the Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance (BCSWA), focused on raising awareness of the recycling, food waste diversion, and toxics requirements under Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law. BCSWA has 13 member towns located in Southwest Vermont: Arlington, Bennington, Dorset, Glastenbury, Manchester, Pownal, Rupert, Sandgate, Searsburg, Shaftsbury, Stamford, Sunderland and Woodford.
