Food Scraps Composting At Schools. Food Scraps Composting At Schools As a follow-up to NERC’s successful Vermont School Recycling and Composting, NERC staff Athena Lee Bradley wrote an article about the project for BioCycle Magazine. The article was published in October and provides an overview of the project, including: Steps to School Composting Success, Saving Money through Reduction, and Lessons Learned. The article also included updates on other school recycling and composting projects in Vermont.
