State Electronics Challenge announces 2014 award winners. A dozen organizations have earned recognition for their efforts to purchase green electronics, reduce energy and paper use and responsibly divert e-scrap.
NERC works with Clarkson University to Implement "Move Out" event. NERC partnered with representatives from Clarkson University, the Development Authority of the North Country, the Local Living Venture, the St. Lawrence County Solid Waste Department, the St. Lawrence County Environmental Management Council, and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation to implement a "Take it or Leave it" event at Clarkson to promote reuse of usable items generated during college move out at the end of the academic year. ISTC Receives Gold Level Recognition from the State Electronics Challenge. The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC), the parent organization for the Sustainable Electronics Initiative (SEI), has received Gold Level recognition from the State Electronics Challenge for activities in 2014.
