Overview

The Northeast Recycling Council, Inc. (NERC) holds two events each year in March/April and October/November. 

NERC's Spring 2020 Conference will be held on April 20 - 21 in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.  

NERC's events are designed to provide attendees with the opportunity to learn, share ideas, discuss the issues, and network with others. The events are focused on the most timely topics in the source reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, and green purchasing industry sectors.

Some of the attendees include: agency commissioners, environmental officials, chief executive officers and executive directors, recycling and materials  managers; VPs of global packaging sustainability, regional sales managers, VPs of technical & regulatory affairs, chief sustainability officers, operations managers, students, and more.

Each of NERC's semi-annual events includes a Board of Directors meeting.

NERC's Conferences attract a wide variety of attendees, including: federal, state, and municipal governments;  industry—haulers, MRFs, processors, and manufacturers;  recycling trade associations; non-profit organizations; consultants; and colleges and universities.
