Northeast Recycling Council (NERC) Event Terms (as of January 1, 2024)

Northeast Recycling Council events held virtually and/or physically (each an “Event”) are designed to provide all participants the opportunity to learn and interact productively and professionally in a dynamic environment. By registering as an attendee, speaker, sponsor, volunteer, or participant in any other capacity of an Event, you:

Acknowledge that your registration enables you to access the Event and Event sessions for which you have registered. You may not share or transfer your or your organization’s Event credentials with any third party without our prior written permission.

Agree to comply with the Code of Conduct and understand that you may report any concerns about other participant conduct in accordance with that policy.

Allow us to publish your name and organization in lists of Event participants. If you are an Event speaker or presenter, we may share your bio and photo for Event promotional and informational purposes. Additional attendee information that may be collected in connection with an Event will be used by the Northeast Recycling Council for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Statement.

Recognize that your entitlement to access the Event venue(s) is contingent upon all policies, rules, and regulations set forth by the Northeast Recycling Council and/or the relevant Event venue. You knowingly and voluntarily assume such risks and affirm that your in-person attendance is conditioned on not having tested positive or been informed by a healthcare worker that you are presumed positive for COVID-19 within at least five (5) days of the Event (or such longer period as may be specified in the then-current guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention).

Acknowledge that we retain the right, at our sole discretion, to modify any and all aspects of an Event, including, but not limited to, Event name, content, program, time, moderators, and speakers.
